1. Thermoforming

Thermoforming is a manufacturing process where a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, formed to a specific shape in a mold. Its products also create plastic waste after use, especially single-use products. The biodegradable plastic can be used for thermoforming but cost of product is rather high compare to traditional plastic.
TAPIOPLAST•NTV  is sustainable product which will offer to manufacturers at affordable price to drive bioplastic product to save the world from pollution. Compounded resin containing TAPIOPLAST•NTV  at high ratio with PBAT and PLA can be processed by thermoforming to make many kind of biodegradable plastic product.

2. Food tray

Compounded resin containing TAPIOPLAST•NTV  with PBAT and PLA can be processed by thermoforming to make food tray that can be completely biodegraded after discarding.

3. Plastic packaging

TAPIOPLAST•NTV  can be compounded with PBAT and PLA to produce plastic packaging which can be completely biodegraded by microorganisms.
